From the point of view of not wanting all of humanity to be cooked to a crisp when the sun gets too hot… hopefully yes!

I’m certainly not an expert, but the technical aspects are not exceptionally difficult… they are, however, expensive and futuristic human settlements on different planets are subject to the same concerns as previous European human settlements in Asia, Africa and the Americas… Essentially the ones we all know about only came to be, and worked, in that they had an economic purpose (essentially they could pay for cost of setting them up).

So, for such futuristic settlements to come about there has to be some benefit to them, perhaps as a source of mineral resources or energy.

      Hi there
One day I am sure there will be, but there are still many obstacles to be overcome before it can happen.
