This one’s up for debate – the earth goes through stages of glacial (icy) periods and interglacial (warm) periods – at the moment we’re in the interglacial period, so it makes sense that we’d move towards another ice age. It’s hard to tell when this would occur though, and we have a problem with Global warming and ice sheets melting, which doesn’t seem indicative of another ice age!

Not at the moment as the earth is warming up at present – could we survive an ice age? Not at the moment – but who knows whether in the future we could evolve to live in colder temperatures, or whether science can develop a way to allow us to live in extreme cold – heat efficient housing, travel etc
