• Question: What kind of job would you reccomend to somebody who wants to do something with biology, chemistry and english?

      That’s a tricky one – perhaps a scientific journalist?

      Those are the A-levels I studied (along with maths)! If you want to use your English writing more I would agree with Claire and suggest you look into science journalism or medical writing. That way you can use your knowledge of chemistry and biology to write up instructions or reports for new drugs, or to write articles on new discoveries in the fields.

      There’s always an element of english and writing involved in laboratory work as you will have to write up results and present work at conferences, but it won’t be such a major part of your job.
