0 Question: What is the Reactivity Series? Keywords: chemistry, element, periodic table, reactive Asked by SpiderMan to Angela, Claire, Ian, Robert, Sarah on 18 Nov 2014.
Sarah Harris answered on 18 Nov 2014:
Hi Spiderman (wow! actual spiderman – i’m honoured)
You do the reactivity series at KS3, and it’s a list of metals in order of how easily they take part in chemical reactions. So potassium is very reactive, whereas platinum is not.
Angela Stokes answered on 18 Nov 2014:
Hi Spiderman
If you want to learn the reactivity series, you could try making up a mnemonic or silly sentence to help. Here’s one – can you do better?
