I’m not sure if this is exactly what you had in mind, but I think the biggest science revolution was when women were recognised for their contribution to science too, and allowed to get degrees. I think it was pretty revolutionary, having ALL scientific brains able to contribute to science, and paved the way for me to have my science education and career. There’s still work to be done for equality in STEM, so it looks like that revolution is continuing, and will enable more talented scientists to make amazing discoveries.

      Hi ellaaa
I have to agree with Sarah, that women coming into science in bigger numbers is a huge step forward – although there is still more to be done. I also think that the teaching of science is improving so that teachers are finding novel and exciting ways to teach the proinciples instead of just having to sit down and learn things.
