      Hi Beth
Choose something you want to do and go for it. Don’t get disheartened by set backs, treat them as learning experiences and most of all – have fun!

      Hi Beth,

Look at all the options available – there’s more to science than just Biology, chemistry and physics – and keep up your maths too, as maths is really important for most science careers. Then it depends on what you want to do in science and what route you want to take – getting a job straight out of school, apprenticeships, or university. If you do decide to go to university, make sure you get work experience whilst you’re there by doing a year in industry or placements in the holidays, as that’ll put you ahead of other job candidates. The great thing about apprenticeships is that you get experience and qualifications at the same time!

And most of all, do what you’re interested in!
