Question: If we produced enough of it, and forgot about the painful storage process, could we use antimatter to power interstellar travel by harnessing its energy to travel at a substantial fraction of the speed of light?

  Power from antimatter is what powers the fictional Starship Enterprise and the science behind it is quite sound. I am not a physicist so that is about as far as I can go. Maybe you could make this your area of research if you go to university and beyond……
