• Question: If we produced enough of it, and forgot about the painful storage process, could we use antimatter to power interstellar travel by harnessing its energy to travel at a substantial fraction of the speed of light?

      Hi Jeddin
Power from antimatter is what powers the fictional Starship Enterprise and the science behind it is quite sound. I am not a physicist so that is about as far as I can go. Maybe you could make this your area of research if you go to university and beyond……

NASA are looking into the possibility of using antimatter as a power source and have an article about it on their website – http://www.nasa.gov/exploration/home/antimatter_spaceship.html – so it could be closer than we think!
