There are lots of possible careers from genetics, and it’s a good field to get in to as we learn more about it. Jobs involving genetics include:
      Molecular Biologist
      Clinical Cytogeneticist
      Doctor
      DNA Analyst
      Genetic Engineer

If you’re interested in that field I’d recommend getting in touch with local laboratories or hospitals to find out if you can do any work experience there. You will definitely need to do sciences at A-level (or NVQ) and if you want to go to university a degree in a biological science (e.g. biochemistry, biotechnology, molecular biology) will help you on your way. University isn’t the only option though, so look into apprenticeships or find out from local laboratories if they take on school leavers.
