• Question: because global warning causes the green house effect will in the next 100 years our land becoming overwhelmed with water?

      Hey Beth,

      From what I’ve managed to find out, if all the ice melted the sea levels would rise by about 70m, which still isn’t enough to cover all the land in the world. So we’ll certainly have to adapt to the rising sea level over the next 100 years but it won’t completely overwhelm the land.

      As Sarah says, there is a lot of the world above 70m so we should all stay dry for a while yet!
