Languages and STEM can definitely complement each other!. Learning a language is another way of learning and analysing patterns, which is really useful in science.
Plus science careers are global, so if you do want to work or study abroad that language will really help!

      Hi Tartanish
Without a doubt – language skills are very important especially if you want to work abroad or for a company based abroad. I work for a Japanese company and some of my colleagues speak Japanese, we have European offices and I speak four European languages reasonably well. In my firld we often com[plete forms in foreign languages. As travel becomes easier, languages become more important.
